THE MANY HATS OF AGRICULTURE MYSTERY THEATER 3rd GRADE

Through hands-on art and creative dramatics, this two-hour classroom activity provides 3rd graders with an introduction to Ohio’s big business of agriculture. Children (and their families) are introduced to over 30 careers related to agribusiness, and agricultural products. This program was developed with an eye toward creating an engaging opportunity for children to begin to understand the importance of agribusiness in Ohio.

Cost:	$110.00 per class

• A great, interactive program. It is well organized and it involves all the students.
• This activity is aligned to 3rd grade curriculum standards for Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science.
• Each student makes their own colorful “career badge and product hat” related to an Ohio product.
• Every student has a costume complete with props, and participates in a four-act play.
• Teachers receive pre/post curricular activities.
• A booklet with an explanation of the careers and follow up activities is sent home.
