Teaching:

Elisabeth Gray has been on the faculty at The Ohio State University at Lima since 1995; she also taught in the Department of Biological Sciences at Ohio Northern University from 1993 to 1999.  Professor Gray has taught courses in biochemistry, comparative animal physiology and general biology here at OSU-Lima.  She also directs the Northwest Ohio Regional Science Olympiad, hosted by OSU-Lima each year in early March. 

Research:

Professor Gray has research interests in the endocrinology of teleost fish, including the impact of anthropogenic compounds on fish endocrine systems, and has co-authored numerous research papers on the subject.  Prior to her arrival in northwestern Ohio she was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Integrative Biology, UC Berkeley (1988‑1991) and a Research Endocrinologist in the same Department (1991‑1992).
