Undergraduates are encouraged to collaborate with a faculty member
on a research project. Undergraduate research is a great way
to get hands-on experience doing science. Undergraduate
research is also becoming an increasingly important experience to
have for applying to both professional school and graduate school.

Several of our students have gone on to present their research at local and national scientific conferences. Recent presentations have included: Jessica Geiger-Hayes, Lisa Regula Meyer, and Patrick Owen. 2006.
