Here is what you are looking for. We have designed these with you in mind. These courses are designed to allow you the flexibility of working on your course work at your convenience. Online work is here to meet your busy schedules. If you require additional help there will be various options to assist you in meeting your needs. Sue will work with you online, over the phone or even by appointment if needed.

Quarter and Semester Hours cost per quarter hours  
1 Quarter Hour = .666 semester hrs.
2 Quarter Hours = 1.33 semester hrs.
3 Quarter Hours = 2 semester hrs.
4 Quarter Hours = 2.6 semester hrs.
5 Quarter Hours = 3.3 semester hrs.
6 Quarter Hours = 4 semester hrs.

 

 
 
 
$165.00 per hour  (1, 2, 3 or 4 hrs.) + $75.00 delivery fee  - Audit the class for only $75.00 a one time $40.00 application fee to the OSU Non Degree Program will be needed to register for all courses.

The main focus of this  course will be interactive web sites that are directly aligned with the Ohio Content Standards. 1000's of web sites will be explored for your classroom use.

Web 2.0 What’s New in Educational Technology?

  This course is developed for administrators and teacher leaders who would like to learn what is new in educational tools. What can educators do with Wiki's, Blogs and Podcasts? How can educators use iPods, MP3 Players, Smartboards, CPS and other tools for the classroom?
Digital Story Telling -4th-8th grade

  This course is designed to introduce you to using digital storytelling in the teaching and learning environment. The benefits of using storytelling to teach in the content areas will be explored. Then digital storytelling will be introduced. You will learn how to produce a digital story using Microsoft Photo Story 3, and how to encourage your students to develop 21st century skills by developing their own digital stories.
Picture IT! - Basic

Have fun learning software you probably did not know you had on your computer. You will be creating photo albums, picture books, slideshows and more. Learn to use your digital camera and scanners to create awesome results.
Picture IT! - Advanced

Simply Movie Maker - Basic

  Create exciting video for your classroom. Students, teachers, and staff can easily create learning tools and presentations using MovieMaker. Knock the socks off of parents when you present a video of their children. 5 -10 minute videos can be created in a few hours. You must have access to a windows computer with MovieMaker installed. Digital Cameras, videos cameras and scanners can be borrowed from the OSU Lima campus TLTL center to use during this workshop.  (Mac users choose the option below)
Simply iMovie - Basic

WebQuests Made Easy with Word

  Microsoft Office 2003 or higher is required for this course. PC or Mac version.
WebQuests are a lesson plan that is adapted in a specific format to allow students to work independently on their lesson(s) on the Internet.
Learn how to create and use this wonderful Internet tool for your classroom. Do you need to post this on a local server? No. Just use it on your classroom computer or you can post it on your school web site, it is up to you.
