OF AGRICULTURE 2nd GRADE An
interactive hands-on career education program that we bring into your
classroom. All students create their own sock puppets while learning about
Ohio’s agricultural products and related careers.

• A fun, well organized activity for 2nd
grade students. They love the puppets!
• This activity is aligned to 2nd grade curriculum standards for Social
Studies, Language Arts, and Science.
• Students learn about Ohio’s agricultural products and careers, and
present a four-act puppet show.
• Students make their own sock puppet and take it home.
• A wagon becomes a puppet stage that travels through the seasons: Spring,
Summer, Fall, and Winter for the puppet play.
• Teachers receive pre/post curricular activities.
• A parent letter with an explanation of the career puppets and follow up
activities is sent home. |
