The Phillip A. Heath Center for Teaching and Learning makes a
high-quality education accessible to all students by
offering a welcoming, respectful and academically supportive
environment. The Center works with faculty and staff to
support students in all disciplines and of all ability
levels.
In an average month, students make more than 1200 visits to
the state-of-the-art facility to take advantage of a variety
of testing services, individual tutoring and many other
student services.

Writing Center
Students can find assistance for specific projects and their
general writing skills in a caring, supportive environment.
Hours are:
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Mathematics Center
Assistance is available in mathematics and statistics.

Placement Testing
Placement testing is available for math, English and foreign

EM Testing
The Credit by Examination Program allows students to progress
more rapidly toward their educational goals by reducing the
time and money normally required for degree completion. The
EM program rewards students for their knowledge and
challenges them to acquire new knowledge and greater
