Roger A. Page is a professor in the Department of Psychology at the Ohio State University, Lima, where he joined the faculty in 1975. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1975 under George G. Thompson at The Ohio State University. From 1998 to 2000, he held the office of Secretary of Division 30 (Psychological Hypnosis) of the American Psychological Association, and President for the 2001 – 2002 year. He has received the Clark Hull Award for excellence in scientific journalism from the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and the Ohio State Lima Outstanding Scholar Award, as well as two Presidential Commendations from A.P.A. Division 30 for outstanding service and a Presidential Commendation from the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis for outstanding service. He currently holds the office of Treasurer, and is serving as chair of the Policy and Procedures Committee for A.P.A. Division 30.
On the Lima Campus, he teaches General Psychology, the Psychology of Childhood, Life Span Developmental Psychology, Psychology of the Adult Years, Motivation and Action, Perception, Psychological Testing, and Contemporary Viewpoints in Psychology. In addition, he teaches Perception on the Columbus Campus.
