Examples: Describe the contributions of the moché . Compare the moché and the inca civilizations.

Students must consult with their instructors about the specific topic chosen . After choosing his/her topic, the student will find at least three Internet sites (in Spanish) that contain useful information about that topic, and will prepare a report about the information found in those sites.

Oral report : Students will prepare an oral report based on the information obtained from the Internet sites. This report will be presented to the instructor during a previously scheduled appointment. The oral report will last 10-15 minutes. Students are not allowed to read from their notes.

Oral report date : _____________________________

Regular attendance and participation in class activities are essential to be a successful language learner. In order for students to progress in understanding and speaking Spanish, they must hear and speak it on a daily basis. Therefore, students must prepare carefully for class by completing all assignments in advance and be ready to participate in class. Students will be graded on individual, pair, and group activities.  Students must not miss more than two classes.  For each unexcused absence beyond the two absences mentioned above, 0.5 point will be deducted from the final course grade.
