Six Reasons to study Spanish

Placement Rules for Spanish Courses
 

IF a student had:	THEN the student:
no Spanish in high school	should enroll in Spanish 101.
less than two years of Spanish in high school	may enroll in Spanish 101 but is strongly encouraged to take the placement test to attempt a higher placement.
two or more years of Spanish in high school and graduated from high school less than five years ago	must take the placement test and will be placed in Spanish 102.66 or higher. (Spanish 101 placement is not an option.)
two or more years of Spanish in high school and graduated from high school more than five years ago	may enroll in Spanish 101 but is strongly encouraged to take the placement test to attempt a higher placement.
