productions
Productions span a wide range of historical and current dramatic literature. Guest designers have collaborated on a number of productions including: Twelfth Night (1994) and Marriage of Figaro (1997, Beaumarchais) designed by Czech scenographer Jaroslav Malina. Another frequent collaborator, Dennis Christilles (Associate Professor Theatre, University of Kansas) has designed productions including The Seagull, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and Impossible Marriage. All productions proceed from the intention of providing students, faculty, staff, and community members the opportunity to participate in and witness high quality performances. Casts are dominated by students, but also include faculty, students from other campuses, and talented actors from the community at large. An average production usually involves twenty-five to thirty students in a range of activities.
