Deadline for applications is January 15, 2009

First: Apply to the graduate school

Submit the following to Graduate Admissions:

  1. Completed Graduate School Application *only online applications accepted.
  2. Application fee ($40 for domestic students; $50 for international students). The fee will not be waived or paid for by PAES.
  3. Official transcripts from all previous college work not completed at The Ohio State University (in a sealed envelope). This includes all work that was transferred.
  4. GRE scores (within 5 years) from the Educational Testing Service (ETS). You may register for the exam through the GRE website. Only scores from the general exam are needed. The OSU Office of Testing is an official testing site: 614-292-2241.
    *Most successful applicants admitted score at least 1000 for a combined verbal and quantitative score and 4.0 on the writing section.

Second: THEN apply to the School of PAES

Applying to specific programs within PAES requires submitting additional information directly to the PAES Admissions Coordinator. All of the following materials must be submitted to the PAES Office of Student Services by the previously mentioned deadlines:
 


A signed Statement of Intent outlining your goals for the program and your intended area
of concentration. This is usually one to two pages in length. Be sure to specify any specializations you have or research that interests you.

Three letters of recommendation and Reference Forms.
These can be obtained here*.

Resume or Vita

A copy of all transcripts showing previous college-level work is also requested.
