WHAT OUR GRADUATES ARE SAYING:

"I am a Business Advisor in Region # 3 for the Ohio Small Business Development Center and a recent graduate of the WDE program at Ohio State. The WDE program at Ohio State prepared me to assist entrepreneurs and small business. I enjoyed the professors who taught us proven rigorous and systematic solutions in organizational behavior and the future of learning."

Craig Brown, Business Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Rhodes State University

"I have been able to effectively take my MA in WDE to the workplace by being prepared to understand the changing economy, employment landscape, and trends to help my students find internships and full-time employment upon graduation. Without a degree in WDE, I would not be able to effectively prepare my students in their career development."

Matt Lamdin, Director of Experiential Learning , Ohio Northern University

What is the focus of the MA in WDE?

FOCUSES on Human Resource Development and Adult Learning

The Master of Arts degree seeks to prepare future advanced practitioners and leaders who have an
interest in employee development, organizational development, or career development.

The degree focus is also appropriate for individuals who have an interest in seeking instructional
or managerial roles in adult learning situations, workforce development agencies,
and higher education settings.

Graduates will use their knowledge and skills to help develop, implement, evaluate, and manage
systems to improve performance and individual learning in a wide range of organizational settings,
including companies, post secondary educational institutions and adult career centers. Entry to
the Master of Arts degree requires a desire to use best practices to address organizational
performance and individual learning issues.
