FLAG FOOTBALL:
Intramural Flag Football is offered during the Fall Quarter. Teams play six on six on a 100 x 40 yard field. Every 20 yards is a first down and after a touchdown, the team has an option of going for one point from two yards out or for two points from 10 yards out. The regular season record determines your seed in the playoffs. The winning team of the playoffs receives free T-shirts compliments of the Athletic Department.
Intramural Basketball is offered during the Winter Quarter. We play five on five with two 15-minute halves. You receive five points for every half that you win, and an additional two points if you win both halves. The final point total at the end of the season will determine your seed in the playoffs at the end of the regular season.
Intramural Whiffleball is offered during the Spring Quarter. It is a seven on seven format and we play our games in the gymnasium. The pitcher is an automatic whiffleball pitching machine which never gets a sore arm. We play a round robin season with an end of the season tournament.
Thanks to our brand new soccer goals, we now offer intramural soccer. We will be playing on a shortened field with a seven on seven format (including goalies). We will play two 15-minute halves and will have a post-season tournament.
Intramural Volleyball is held in Fall Quarter. It is open to any student taking one credit hour or more or any faculty member. We play six on six co-ed volleyball. We follow the rules of the NCAA and have two line judges and a referee. We play the best of three games with each game going to 15 points and you must win by two. There is a regular season with an end of the season tournament. Your record during the regular season determines your position in the tournament. Winners receive a free T-Shirt provided by the Athletic Department.
