Lima Campus students raise $1500 for Red Cross Haitian Earthquake Relief

The students of The Ohio State University at Lima and Rhodes State College have worked together to raise funds for Haitian Earthquake Relief with all proceeds going to the American Red Cross.

Members of the Ohio State Lima Psych Club and the Newman Catholic Association will present checks totaling $1522 to the American Red Cross at 3:30 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 25, 2010, in the Dean’s Suite, Public Service 208. The student groups raised the funds by selling tickets for a drawing for two weekend retreats at Susanna’s Guest House Bed and Breakfast on the Ohio River. The weekends were donated by the owner of the bed and breakfast, an Ohio State Lima alum.
