Ohio State Lima appoints new members to Board of Trustees
The Ohio State University at Lima recently appointed three new members to its Board of Trustees. Each new member will serve a three-year term. Their first official meeting will be at 4:30 p.m., Thur., Oct. 13, 2011, in the Public Service Board Room on the Ohio State Lima campus.
Joel Althauser, Kenton, is the vice president for Commercial and Ag Lending at Home Savings and Loan Company of Kenton. Althauser has worked in the banking industry for nearly 19 years. Prior to this, Althauser worked as an extension associate in Paulding and Van Wert counties for Ohio State Extension. His community involvement includes serving as a councilman for Kenton City Council, Hardin County Hospice Board of Directors and president of the Kenton Community Improvement Corporation and Kenton Kiwanis Club. Althauser received his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
Nicole Gray, Elida, is the raw material planning manager at the Procter & Gamble’s Lima Plant. She has been employed by P&G since 1998. She has led the Multicultural Action Council and the Black Women Manager Initiative Teams at P&G. Gray also spent six years in the Army National Guard prior to beginning her career with quality control and supply chains in the manufacturing industry. Her community involvement includes serving as a board member at the Bradfield Community Center and Ohio State Lima’s Diversity Council.
Mark Haushalter, Bellefontaine, is vice president for engineering and manufacturing at Robinson Fin Machines, Inc., in Kenton, where he’s worked for 18 years. He began his engineering career with General Motors Corporation, first in Warren, Mich., then later with the Delco Division in Dayton. Haushalter has served on the Ohio Hi-Point Business and Industry Team Advisory Committee as well as chairman for Virtual Adventures, LLC; H & H Green, LLC; and Thermal Form and Function, LLC. He's also the director for Thermal Form and Function, Inc.; EWH Spectrum, LLC; and Haushalter Export Services, DISC.
