Ohio State Lima presents dinner theatre concert to raise money for choir robes
The Ohio State University at Lima Department of Music presents a "Music of the Stage and Screen" dinner theatre concert at 6 p.m., Tues., May 29, and Wed., May 30, 2012, in the Reed Hall Cafeteria. The show will feature the University Chorus, University Chorale and the a cappella group, Carmony, all under the direction of Matthew Young. Dr. Margaret Young will serve as the collaborative pianist. The tickets are $15 and include a salad, main course and dessert. To purchase tickets, call (419) 995-8442.
The choirs are presenting the concert to raise money for choir robes. Through a series of other fundraisers, the groups hope to raise $10,000, which will be enough to purchase 70-80 robes by the November 2012 choir concert. The choirs at Ohio State Lima have never had choir robes.
A program of the dinner theatre follows.
