For Immediate Release May 6, 2002 CONTACT: Pam Joseph at (419) 995-8284 Ohio State Lima clubs welcome Sondheimer to campus for Documentary of the Holocaust The History Club and Psych Club of The Ohio State University at Lima will present a two-part series “A Documentary of the Holocaust” featuring Mrs. Elisabeth Being Sondheimer on May 7 and 8, 2002. In Part I, the Emmy-winning documentary
A Simple Matter of God and Country
will be shown at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2002, in Reed Hall 160. A
Simple Matter of God and Country documents Sondheimer and her family’s
dramatic departure from Stuttgart, Germany in 1938. Refreshments will be
served. Brown bag suppers are welcome. In Part II, Mrs. Sondheimer, a
Holocaust survivor, will discuss her experiences and answer questions from
the audience at 1:45 p.m., May 8, 2002, in Science Building 100.
