Ohio State Lima’s program for retirees changes name

The Ohio State University at Lima’s program for people of retirement age will start the new year with a new name. The Lifelong Learning Institute, formerly called the Institute for Learning in Retirement, will continue to offer ongoing academic programs geared specifically to the interests of its members and the local community. The local name change follows the lead of the national LLI organization, which is an affiliate of the Elderhostel program.

LLI holds two sessions each year, one in April and one in October. Program participants can take from one to all of the classes offered during the session, which meets Tuesdays and Thursdays for four weeks. For more information, contact Andi Smith in the Office of Continuing Education at (419) 995-8863.
