FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 1, 2003 Contact: Pam Joseph at (419) 995-8284 or Erin McVicker at (419) 995-8332 Ice cream social planned to welcome new dean at Ohio State The Ohio State University at Lima will host an ice cream social to welcome its new dean, Dr. John Snyder, from 1:30-3:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2003, in the Galvin Commons. The faculty, staff and students from both the University and Rhodes State College have been invited. Dr. Snyder begins his term as Dean and Director of Ohio State Lima on July 1, 2003. He comes to a regional campus that offers all the coursework for Bachelor degrees in 10 areas – Biology, Business, Education, English, Family Financial Management, Health Sciences, History, Hospitality Management, Mathematics, and Psychology. Masters programs are available in Education and Social Work. The growing Bellefontaine Centers brings the first two years of most Ohio State majors to a convenient location for Logan and surrounding county residents.
