Ohio State Lima announces high school writing contest winners

 

The Ohio State University at Lima is pleased to announce the winners for its 2004 Creative Writing Competition for Allen County high school students. More than 150 entries from 11 high school districts were received for the poetry and fiction categories in the freshman/sophomore and junior/senior divisions. Students will receive $1585 in prize money thanks to the generous support of the Lima Breakfast Optimists and the Lima Noon Optimists. The top three in each category will also receive tuition vouchers from Ohio State Lima.

Winners and their families will be honored at a reception at the University at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2004, in Reed 160.
