Local author and consultant Barb Wingfield will bring her upbeat brand of inspiration and encouragement to the Ohio State Lima’s Administrative Professionals Day Event, 8:15-11:15 a.m., Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at the Old Barn Out Back.

Administrative Professionals Day is an annual event designed to recognize administrative professionals for their contributions to the workplace. Similar events will be taking place across the country.

Wingfield is the President of Green Thumb Management in Kenton. She has her finger on the pulse of today’s work force. Her in-depth knowledge is the result of her diverse national client base and her everyday observations. Using the basic principles of management she learned during her "kids, cows, and corn days," Wingfield will inspire and challenge the participants’ thought processes and give them immediate ideas and strategies that will leave them thinking, "Yes, I can do that" both in the workplace and in their personal lives.

The cost for the program is $30 and includes a breakfast buffet, the seminar and the chance at door prizes.
