The government wants your business Ohio State Lima hosts government sales seminar Local business owners will have the opportunity to learn what it takes to become a vendor to the government from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2006, at the Holiday Inn on Roschman Avenue in Lima. The project is sponsored by The Ohio State University at Lima’s Office of Continuing Education. Lima is hosting the first of six seminars scheduled around the state. Deborah Wallace-Flagg, president of Government Procurement Services and nationally recognized government contracting professional will serve as the keynote speaker. Some programs she has contracted include NASA, Night Vision Goggles, Flight Simulation and the IMAX Theater project. This is an informational session only and is not intended to teach business professionals how to do contracts with the government. Participants will simply learn if they are ready to do business with the government and what resources are available to get started.
