Synopsis: Hattie is the story of a young girl who wants, more than anything, to fly. While her mother is away, Hattie stays with her Aunt Ruby who tells her one night that wishes made on the full moon might really come true. Hattie goes into the night in search of her wish and meets some peculiar characters with wishes of their own. On this strange and special night, Hattie sees the moon fall down to Earth, meets a man who is perpetually rained on, faces an enormous giant and even gets a chance to fly. After these experiences, Hattie wakes up the next morning a little wiser.
Program Notes: Do you have a secret wish? The kind that you dream about when you close your eyes... One that makes you feel better when you're lonely or afraid? You aren't the only one with a secret wish... neither is Hattie.
