The Lima Buckeye Distinction Award will be awarded to new freshmen who enroll full-time. The Award will be based on the student's high school performance and standardized test scores. The following chart gives an estimate of potential scholarship monies available to Ohio State Lima students. These are guaranteed minimum amounts for students who:
- apply to Ohio State and file their FAFSA by March1, 2010*
- pay their acceptance fee by May 1, 2011
- maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA (to renew scholarship for two years)
** Including equivalent SAT scores
Those students who do not meet the March 2 deadline will be awarded as long as funds are available.
Attention Middle Childhood Education Majors who plan to teach science. The OSU-Lima Office of Student Financial Aid is proud to announce a $2,000 scholarship opportunity through the "Choose Ohio First Scholarship initiative".

Arthur & Marian Rudd Scholars - Six new freshmen students are named Rudd Scholars each academic year; three will receive full-tuition scholarships, and three will receive half-tuition scholarships renewable for a maximum of 12 quarters while attending Ohio State Lima. Students must be enrolled full-time and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to Allen and Auglaize County students who demonstrate financial need. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Ohio State Lima scholarships.
The Martha W. Farmer Theatre Scholarship Fund -Established by Martha Farmer. Income provides scholarships based on academic merit for talented undergraduates at the Lima Campus preparing for a theatre major, or for former Lima Campus students majoring in theatre at the Columbus Campus. The Griffith Family Scholarship - (Freshmen only) Provides scholarship to a deserving freshman student from Hardin County who is attending Ohio State Lima. The applicant must have background in agriculture but does not have to pursue degree in agriculture. (Deadline: April 1, 2010)
The Osborn Family Scholarship - (Freshmen only) Scholarships for students at The Ohio State University at Lima with special consideration for first generation scholars and students from Putnam County. Award by the Osborn Family. (Deadline: April 1, 2010)
J. McLean Reed Music Fund - Recognizes Dr. Reed's dedication and support of the campus' music program. Supports scholarships to students who demonstrate leadership and excellence in music. Awarded by the Music Department. For more information contact Dr. Richard Mallonee at mallonee.1@osu.edu.
Zelma L. Roeder Memorial Scholarship Fund - Income provides scholarships for Lima Campus students who are music majors or minors, with preference to students of keyboard instruments.
