Computer Science Courses on the Lima Campus
These introductory courses provide basic skills for students with limited or no previous computer experience. They require minimal or no prerequisites, and DO NOT teach programming.
Basic Programming Skills for Any Major
Introductory Programming Courses
Students with an interest in programming can start with CSE201. The course requires a minimal math prerequisite (Math075) and no programming experience. Java is taught.
Engineers and Scientists can learn C++ programming skills and fulfill the prerequisite for ME 410 with CSE202. No programming experience is required.
Pre-CSE students can start with either CSE201 or CSE202.
Advanced Courses
Students can advance their programming skills and learn about data organization in CSE214.
