The Lima campus has a wide variety of campus activities throughout the year to enhance your academic life. Cultural programming including artists, singers, musicians, lectures, movies, displays, and the like are available during the day, and on some evenings. Most are offered at no cost, just show up.

The student lounge/game room is located in the basement of Galvin Hall. You can enjoy comfortable sofas and chairs as well as tables, cable TV, pool tables, foosball tables, playing cards, chess, scrabble, video games, and movie showings. Game room hours are typically Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm but may vary slightly from quarter to quarter. Lounge hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 9:00pm. Stop in and join the fun!

OSU students in need of local housing may take advantage of the Housing Information Service offered on campus. The service assists students by providing resource information about legalities of renting and unit specifics. Apartment managers, rental agents and homeowners voluntarily provide information about rental properties, such as the type of housing, amount of rent, etc. Further information can be obtained from the Student Activities Office, GA 066.

Rental lockers are located in the south stairwell of the Galvin Hall basement. Twenty-four lockers are provided for students to place personal items on a daily basis, no overnight storage. Lockers are available on a first-come first-serve basis. There is a $ .25 usage fee that is refunded when the key is returned. All lockers are cleaned out at the end of each quarter, and all items collected are donated to a local charity.

To find out when events on campus are scheduled or when a club meets, pick up a copy of the weekly newsletter, “The Communicator”. Newsletters can be found each Monday morning of Fall, Winter and Spring quarters in all specially designed news racks located in the lobbies of all public buildings on campus.

A variety of student organizations and clubs exist on campus. The Student Activities Office publishes a brochure listing all active groups on campus. Stop by GA 066 for more information, view Organizations and Clubs, or check the Student Involvement Calender.

The Athletics and Recreation Department provides many opportunities for intercollegiate and intramural competition from flag football to running the steps. The office of the Coordinator, Rob Livchak, is in Cook Hall Room 105. Stop by for more information or view Athletics and Recreation.
